![]() ![]() She knew we had already had our photos taken before but insisted we do that again. We left and walked to the bus station to purchase masks. He again couldn't find them but another employee said the machines were outside and by the bus station. She was frustrated but told him directions again which involved multiple turns. When they couldn't he returned to the lady and asked again where they were. Well one member of our party found a mask in their bag and attempted to find the machines. We asked if any were available and she said there were vending machines inside the casino with masks to purchase. She informed us that we couldn't enter without a mask. ![]() There was a young lady working the intake area. We decided to go into the casino as some of us hadn't been. We don't live in Baltimore and since there isn't a mask mandate for the stadium, we didn't have masks. Several weeks ago around 5-5:30 a group of us arrived for the football game. All of the period costumed staff throughout the site are more than willing to assist with any questions you might have. You can avoid waiting in line by buying tickets online, but we had a lot more information from the live folks. All of this will be explained by the friendly ticket agents at the welcome center. There's a wall full of ones that vets have brought in. If you have a challenge coin, bring it and they will trade it for one of theirs. ![]() There's also a USO style building with free coffee and drinks. Also, if you are active, retired or a military vet, you will get discounts on admission and in any of the merchant stores. You can take the shuttle or walk to the market area which is technically outside the historic district, and find some restaurants open. NOTE: MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS are the days off for all of the main restaurants and some of the historic homes. You also get to ride the shuttle buses with a paid ticket. See artisans at work: printers, blacksmiths, carpenters, bakers, homeowners, etc etc. You can park and walk for free, but you need a pass to enter most of the historic buildings. Be sure to get at least the one day pass in order to get the full effect of the many docents and role players throughout the site. ![]()
